Biting the bullet

We have decided to bite the bullet and not get cable. Seems like the perfect time, doesn't it?

I was told that many of the apartments pick up the wi-fi offered, so if ours does, we will use that. If not, we will look in to naked DSL.

We will also cancel our Netflix account and go back to Blockbuster. We can't decide between the $19.99 3 DVDs at a time and 5 in-store exchanges a month plan or the $34.99 3 DVDs at a time and unlimited in-store exchanges a month plan.

The thing about Comcast is that after 3 months our bill would have gone up to over $120.00 a month. I know I could call and get a better price but I m tired of having to fight for a good deal, you know? I mean, if they are willing to give me the service for a lesser price, why can't they just offer that as their standard price? Isn't that good customer service?
